Mission Statement

The Paul & Carol David Foundation is a not-for-profit private foundation whose primary mission is to improve educational, community, and health opportunities for underprivileged and/or disadvantaged children in Stark County, Ohio. The Foundation works to accomplish this mission in the following ways:

  • By providing scholarship grants to deserving graduating high school students to enable them to attend an accredited university;
  • By enhancing educational initiatives through the funding of specific academic programs and capital needs;
  • By supporting institutions and agencies that promote the mental and physical health and well-being of children; and
  • By supporting the efforts of Catholic affiliated organizations that offer assistance and comfort to children.

Governance

The Paul & Carol David Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private foundation as defined by IRS rules and regulations. A three member Board of Trustees governs the Foundation. The Trustees are Carol David, Jeff David, and Thomas Knoll, Esq. Carol David currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Jeff David serves as President. Walt Stanislawski is the Foundation's Director and Executive Vice President, and Becky Duplain is Executive Assistant and Grant Coordinator.
